Terms of use / EULA — Keryx for SafeCall
Status: DRAFT — not counsel-reviewed · 25 August 2026Planned public URL: {public_base}/keryx/terms (not yet published)Owner: Thomas Minitsios (sourcectl)Copyright © 2026 sourcectl
These draft terms govern use of the Keryx for SafeCall mobile application (“Keryx”) published by sourcectl. English and Czech DRAFT bodies live in this file; public HTTPS publication and counsel review remain open.
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Keryx, you agree to these terms and the privacy draft. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License and product model
- sourcectl grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Keryx on devices you control, solely as an administrator companion to a separately contracted SafeCall deployment.
- Keryx is free. There is no Keryx account, checkout, subscription, paid SKU, in-app purchase, or external purchase call to action.
- A SafeCall-generated QR code configures connectivity and selected alert categories. It does not purchase, license, or unlock paid digital content.
- Keryx is not independently marketed as a standalone consumer product.
3. Eligibility and audience
Keryx is intended for adult SafeCall administrators. It is not designed for children. Initial public distribution is planned for the Czech Republic with English and Czech public materials at launch parity.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- misuse Keryx to harass, spoof, or disrupt SafeCall or ntfy services;
- attempt to circumvent authentication, access controls, or store review environments;
- redistribute or reverse engineer the app except where mandatory law allows;
- represent Keryx as a guaranteed emergency, medical, or life-safety system.
5. Delivery limitations
Alert delivery depends on device power, network, OS notification permission, Focus/Do Not Disturb, OEM battery policies, ntfy availability, message cache retention, and (for killed-state delivery) correctly configured APNs/FCM upstream. Force-quit may prevent background delivery until you reopen the app.
Keryx notifications are supplemental. They are not a substitute for on-site emergency procedures. Approved public safety-claim language is in safety claims.

6. Third-party and client infrastructure
SafeCall deployments and client ntfy/push hosts are operated outside this app binary. Their availability, security configuration, and retention are the responsibility of the contracted client and deployer, not a guarantee by sourcectl through the app store listing alone.
7. Intellectual property
Keryx, its branding as a SafeCall companion, and related materials are owned by sourcectl or its licensors. “SafeCall”, Wantok, and related marks remain with their respective owners under the approved brand hierarchy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keryx is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, sourcectl is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for missed or delayed alerts arising from device, network, OS, or client infrastructure conditions. Liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law (including applicable Czech/EU rules) remains.
10. Termination
You may stop using Keryx at any time by uninstalling it and requesting subscribe-token revocation through SafeCall administration where applicable. sourcectl may stop distributing updates or withdraw store listings consistent with store and contractual rules.
11. Changes
sourcectl may update these terms. After public publication, the version at the public URL controls. Material changes should be reflected before store submission. Draft change-control owner: Thomas Minitsios.
12. Governing law (draft note)
For the Czech Republic launch, these terms are intended to be interpreted in light of applicable Czech and European Union law and mandatory user protections. This section is draft and subject to counsel review; it does not invent a venue or conflict-of-law election beyond that review.
